Brittany and Zack met through Zack's brother and started dating right after high school. It was meant to be because they realized they were both accepted into programs at WVU and would be attending college together in the fall! (Whoo! Go Mountaineers!)
Zack proposed to his beautiful girlfriend Brittany after FIVE years of dating. They were traveling home through the scenic, rolling hills of West Virginia where they stopped at the Monongahela National Forest to take in the breathtaking vistas. As you could hear the serene sounds of bird chirping, wind rustling through the trees, and water trickling in the stream below, Zack got down on one knee and asked Brittany to be his forever. This forest has been preserved, never cut, which to me is a significant reflection on their many years to come.
The newly engaged couple continued on their journey home. If the engagement wasn't a big enough surprise for Brittany, Zack had also arranged a cookout with the help of his brother. Friends and family from near and far were waiting with open arms to embrace them and celebrate for the remainder of the night. (Awesome job Zack!)
I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to meet these two wonderful people! I wish them both so much happiness and joy in the years to come!
