I photographed Kristina and Josh's engagement at Oglebay Park and I was SO excited when they asked me to be their wedding photographer, and even more excited when they said they were having a destination wedding! I absolutely love to travel and have made it a goal to photograph at least one destination wedding a year. They decided to have their beach wedding on Topsail Island in North Carolina. The wedding alter and chairs were set up in the sand in front of the beach house that they rented.
Kristina chose maroon and gold for their wedding colors and wore a stunning, fitted dress with intricate, lace details perfect for a beach wedding. My favorite part of the wedding day was how their families made me feel at home. My boyfriend assisted me with this wedding we both couldn't stop talking about how kind and appreciative everyone was.
The evening ended with a sparkler send-off. The wind never died down so it was a little hard to light them but we made it work. It was a gorgeous day and I am so happy to have been a part of it!
