Nikki and Drew met at Duquesne University and were best friends throughout college. It wasn't until after they graduated that they started dating. Drew proposed at Nikki's parents' house for a Father's Day / birthday celebration. She was completely unaware that the actual celebration was for the proposal! They were about to play Yahtzee (one of their favorites) and when Nikki's dad handed her the Yahtzee card it had Drew's handwriting on it. He wrote a note and at the end he said to "turn around". There he was!
Nikki and Drew Chose the Edgewood Country Club for their wedding. They loved the bright, beautiful chandeliers and abundance of natural lighting from floor to ceiling windows. Both the bride and groom got ready for the ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh - Monroeville Convention Center. Glam to go did an impeccable job with Nikki and her bridesmaid's hair and makeup and Nikki was absolutely stunning in her blush wedding dress.
They opted to have a first look before the wedding at the Edgewood Country Club. This allowed the majority of photos to be done before the wedding ceremony so Nikki and Drew could enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. Their ceremony was tented outdoors on the property with the reception in the ballroom. I loved the sentimental moments - especially Nikki's Grandpa singing at their wedding. The speeches at the wedding reception were equally emotional and sweet and really showed how much their families truly love them both.
Nikki and Drew have kind-hearted, fun personalities that are contagious, and I am so happy that they found each other to spend the rest of their lives together. They are seriously perfect for each other and I am so grateful to have been a part of the beautiful day.
