Luxurious St. Paul's Cathedral wedding in Pittsburgh
Stephanie and Austin got ready for their wedding ceremony at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Pittsburgh. Steph wore a gorgeous robe made out of her mother’s wedding dress while getting her hair and makeup done. Gifts we’re exchanged, photographs of the bride and groom with their families were captured, and happy tears were shed. These intimate moments were one of my favorite parts of their day.
Steph and Austin exchanged vows at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is a massive church downtown that is perfect for a wedding. Afterwards we went across the street and took bridal party portraits at the colums in Oakland. The bridesmaids wore elegant teal colored dresses and the groomsmen wore black suits with suspenders. The vibe for this wedding was modern black and white with emerald green accents.
Their wedding reception was held at PPG Wintergarden. The glass wedding venue was decorated with white tablecloths, acrylic signs and chargers, and tall white floral centerpieces. I loved their wedding terrible towel wedding favors that the guests waved during the reception entrances.
After dinner, dancing and cake cutting, I snuck the bride and groom outside for some night portraits in the rain. These were some of their favorite photos from the whole day!! Don't be afraid of rain on your wedding day - the photos can be epic if you have a great photographer.
I adored capturing these lifelong memories for Steph and Austin and wish them a life full of adventures and happiness together.
