Marcio proposed to Kate in Maui on the beach with champagne around midnight on New Year's Eve. So romantic!
Kate got ready at the Parador Inn before heading to the Aviary; She wore a stunning Stella York dress from Ellie’s Bridal Boutique. Their wedding ceremony and reception was held in the Garden Room at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and they hired a talented harpist for the ceremony music. I loved their event space because it feels like the outdoors are brought in with all of the large windows. Part of Marcio’s family was in Bolivia so the wedding was live-streamed for them.
it rained for most of the day so we utilized the Rainforest Room for bridal party and the bride and groom portraits. Pisarcik Flower Farm did an AMAZING job with their colorful bouquets and flower arrangements. They also met one of the penguins during cocktail hour! How fun is that?!
My favorite part of the wedding day was when one of their friends sang and played the guitar for them. It was such a special moment for Kate and Marcio and a moment they will never forget. The evening ended with a bouquet toss and everyone dancing the night away.
