I loved every minute of photographing Rachel and John's wedding at The Lake Club in Poland, OH. I photographed their engagement the year before in downtown Pittsburgh and I was SO excited for their wedding day!
Let me start by saying that Rachel flawlessly executed ever single detail of this wedding. Their wedding was a travel theme and Rachel used passports as wedding invitation. Brilliant!! The wedding colors were blush and navy (the bridesmaids wore blush dresses and the groomsmen wore navy suits) with gold accents incorporated in the reception.
My favorite aspect of the wedding day was the food. It SLAYED any wedding food I have ever had - hats off to the chef! Eggplant is my favorite food on the planet and it was provided along with delicious vegetables, meats, salad, and rolls. The cake incorporated the travel theme beautifully with intricately cut out gold continents and airplane - yes, it tasted even better than it looked!
