Bethany and Justin were married on May 6, 2018. I second shot this wedding with the beautiful Heather from Weddings by Heather. We covered this wedding last minute for a photographer who couldn't make it due to health concerns. Heather and I met the couple and the family on the spot and Heather walked into the lead photographer role flawlessly (because she's just awesome LOL). Bethany and Justin were so laid back and thankful that we were available to cover their special day.
I loved every minute of photographing Rachel and John's wedding at The Lake Club in Poland, OH. I photographed their engagement the year before in downtown Pittsburgh and I was SO excited for their wedding day! Let me start by saying that Rachel flawlessly executed ever single detail of this wedding. Their wedding was a travel theme and Rachel used passports as wedding invitation. Brilliant!! The wedding colors were blush and navy (the bridesmaids wore blush dresses and the g
Ashley and Avery have the sweetest love story; they were high school sweethearts that have been together for years. This wonderful couple met when they were fourteen in their freshman gym class. After spending their high school and college years together, Avery proposed at a restaurant overlooking the river. Ashley of course said "YES" to the love of her life. Their wedding colors were light pink and navy with rustic touches throughout. Simply Sweet Cakes did the decorating a
I had a wonderful day volunteering with the Red Cross of Western Pennsylvania in Aliquippa, PA for their Sound the Alarm event!! I met the kindest people and had fun volunteering my photography services to document the day.
Since the fall of 2014, the American Red Cross has embarked on a Home Fire Campaign aimed at reducing the number of home fire related deaths and injuries by 25%. Part of this campaign consists of Sound the Alarm events, where groups of volunteers canvass
I've known Kacie for a LONG time - possibly since elementary school. Kacie and Bryce have been together for SEVEN years and he proposed to her with the most beautiful diamond ring on the North Shore of Pittsburgh. Bryce you rock! I seriously love the way he looks at her - they are perfect for each other. We started the engagement shoot in downtown Pittsburgh utilizing the modern lines of the city, then headed to Heartwood Acres for golden hour photos with a more romantic fee
This was my first time meeting Dakota and she was so adorable!! She is also HILARIOUS and kept us laughing though the whole session! I loved her curiosity and desire for knowledge; she wanted to know the "why" of everything. Her mom bought her a cute pink dress for her birthday photo shoot but she only wanted to wear the blue and white one so we made it work. My dog Leonardo also made it into a few photographs. She LOVED him!! Leo is a licker so she was in for a lot of puppy
What does MEE stand for? My initials....Michelle Elisabeth What is your favorite thing to photograph? That's easy! I LOVE weddings and engagements; especially detail shots and the architecture of beautiful locations. What is your photography style? I focus on un-posed, candid, in-the-moment photography; the crazy and hilarious moments along with the genuine and emotional moments that you never fully appreciate until you relive them time and time again flipping through your we
With social media being a substantial part of our society today, people rarely print their photographs. It’s time to stop the cycle of snap, post, forget, and repeat. I know that I personally have thousands of cell phone pics that have disappeared over time. Data has no substance. It isn’t in the physical world, but rather on a 24 hour timeline. Printing liberates your files; thus your memories. It’s important to see your images in a physical space where they can be enjoyed a
